History
The printing plant was established in 1975 under the name “State Printing Plant for Operative Poligraphy – Offsetgraphic”. This came as a result of the Cabinet’s action plan for consolidation and development of the printing industry in Bulgaria.
The plant included the facilities of:
– “Torgraphic” Sofia
– “Moda” – Sofia
– “Reklama” – Sofia
The company printed periodicals and bulletins, accidental production, uniform orders, technical documentation, advertising materials. The company was also authorized to be a dealer of its output.
In 1990 the printing plant is reincorporated into State firm “Offsetgraphic” (1990-1994).
Under the newly introduced Commercial Law, in 1994 the company is reincorporated into Sole proprietorship with limited liability (EOOD) and keeps this status until 1999.
Under the restitution law, introduced in the beginning of 1992, the plant’s facilities were moved entirely to the “Zaharna Fabrika” district.
In September 1998 there was a privatization deal for 80% of the company’s capital. With a ruling of Sofia district court of 04 May 1999 7868 shares of 1000 lv. each were transferred to “Offsetgraphic 2001″ JSC. The newly formed entity now operates under the name of “Offsetgraphic” LTD. Shareholders are “Offsetgraphic 2001″ JSC and the state, represented by the Industry minister.
Since 2001 the company is 100% privately owned.
